Model Interpreter Frameworks: A Foundation for the Analysis of Domain-Specific Software Architectures
نویسندگان
چکیده
Prediction of the quality attributes of software architectures requires technologies that enable the application of analytic theories to component models. However, available analytic techniques generally operate on formal models specified in notations that cannot flexibly and intuitively capture the architectures of large-scale distributed systems. The construction of model interpreters that transform architectural models into analysis models has proved to be a time-consuming and difficult task. This paper describes (1) how a reusable model interpreter framework can reduce the complexity involved in this task, and (2) how such a framework can be designed, implemented, utilized, and evaluated.1

A Reference Architecture for Automation of Inter-Organizational Process-Oriented Collaboration
In today’s competitive, dynamic, and changing business environment, being able to collaborate globally within and beyond the enterprise borders is critical. Inter-Organizational Collaborations (IOCs) have been proposed as a response to the characteristics of highly competitive global business environments. So far, a number of reference models, frameworks, and ad hoc architectures related to som...

متن کاملPsiLight: a Lightweight Programming Language to Explore Multiple Program Execution and Data-binding in a Web-Client DSL Evaluation Engine
Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) allow building software applications by simplifying the labour of both software engineers and domain experts thanks to the abstraction provided by a high-level code. Introducing a DSL in the software development process requires the use of technologies and frameworks in the design and implementation activities. If we are restricted to web-client applications, th...
متن کاملSpectrally formulated finite element for vibration analysis of an Euler-Bernoulli beam on Pasternak foundation
In this article, vibration analysis of an Euler-Bernoulli beam resting on a Pasternak-type foundation is studied. The governing equation is solved by using a spectral finite element model (SFEM). The solution involves calculating wave and time responses of the beam. The Fast Fourier Transform function is used for temporal discretization of the governing partial differential equation into a se...
متن کاملUsing Generative Programming to Enhance Reuse in Visitor Pattern-based DSML Model Interpreters
An important part of domain-specific modeling language (DSML) tools is model interpretation – the translation of constructed models into useful artifacts, such as dense XML configuration files or source files, or other model representations. When the same DSML is used for different purposes, e.g., generating metadata for platform deployment or performance analysis, or creating composite DSMLs, ...
